Questions & Guidance

Everything you need to know prior to stepping into an evening dedicated to intentional reflection, connection, and celebration.

Purpose & Vision

The Event

What is the Polaris Ball?

The Polaris Ball is an intentional two-day journey designed for personal growth, quiet reflection, and genuine human connection. Using the timeless elegance of a formal ball as a backdrop, the experience offers a space to step out of daily routines, practice traditional grace and etiquette, and cultivate personal reflection, intentionality, beauty, and honor

Expectations of Participants

Participants are invited to step into the two-day experience with intention, open inquiry, and presence. We ask each guest to embrace the shared atmosphere of genuine connection, quiet grandeur, and a withdrawal from digital distractions.

What the Polaris Ball is NOT.

The Polaris Ball is NOT a Live Action Role Play (LARP). We are not looking to play a character, we are practicing showing up as our best, authentic selves.

The Polaris Ball is NOT a costume party. While we dress in formal clothing that is much more extravagant than our everyday fare, we are doing it to show honor to ourselves, to each other, and to the occasion. We are not doing it to disguise our identity and hide who we are.

The Polaris Ball is NOT a historical reenactment. While we do take some influence from debutante balls of the past, and find value in historical values, we are not trying to faithfully reenact those experiences. Rather, the structure has been designed for contemporary reflection and practice of intentionality.
